Macquarie University Theatre

Drone Roof Inspection

A building with a corrugated metal roof, some parts dirty and weathered. The building has a brick wall section and a section with blue siding. There is a parking lot with marked parking spaces and a red dumpster nearby. Some equipment and tools are on the ground next to the building.

Restore Conservation Services was engaged to carry out a drone roof inspection of the Macquarie University Theatre as part of routine maintenance works. Due to the height and complexity of the roof, it was easier, efficient and cheaper to inspect it up close using a drone.

We captured high-resolution images of the entire roof, including hard-to-access areas. This allowed us to assess the condition of the materials and identify any signs of wear or damage.
