Client: Touring the Past on behalf of Uniting Church Australia

The Paddington Uniting Church group which includes the former Methodist Church, the George Smith Memorial Hall, former Parsonage, and "The Nest" forms one of the most intact and architecturally significant groups of ecclesiastical buildings in Paddington.

Restore, along with Touring the Past, provided strategic advice focusing on upgrading and installation of signange without having a negative impact on the fabric of the church. We developed a clear maintenance strategy to ensure the church’s structural integrity and visual appeal.

The project was carried out with careful planning to minimize disruption to the church community, preserving the spiritual atmosphere while introducing modern upgrades. Restore also oversaw the installation of the signage to ensure it was done in line with heritage standards.
